April 10th: The bill has been vetoed!
April 2nd: The politicians in Arizona are about to sign into law a bill that would mandate sites like e621 to either impose age verification on all users or be at a risk of lawsuits. Such system would be required to go through third party vendors, who in turn must go through a government database to verify every user's age. This is not only a major violation of privacy, but it also opens up a very real danger of identity theft through phishing schemes and other methods, not to mention that we would not be able to control any of that information to make sure it is permanently deleted after age verification is complete.
Unfortunately, Arizona is the state out of which e621 operates, which means that this law will almost certainly affect us if it is to pass. If want to help us ensure that this site can continue to serve you without being required to know who you are, please ask the Arizona governor to veto this bill.
Please, help us get the word out by letting others know about this issue.
For some further information on what the bill does have a look at https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2586/
We still have a Discord server, come talk to us!

MemberKirlia looks worried about what she's gonna be in the future.

MemberWell Violet Paradoxes are i think a few hundred or thousand years in the future probably outfitted with a DNA computer possessor or something

MemberI reckon for some of the future Paradox mons (an example being Iron Bundle) that it's a replacement for the og dying out completely, though others like Valiant could be a result of them having to adapt into a machine in order to survive and we know the latter can happen thanks to Miraidon

MemberWell, Valiant is supposed to be a "super soldier" since he was experimented to be the strongest psychic pokemon (and failing in the process). I don't think that was voluntary, 'cuz both in universe and outside universe of pokemon Gardevoir and Gallade are really beloved pokemon in many ways, so doing such bestiality on her/him would be so unforgettable for anyone that has one as partner.

MemberThe problem is we don't know if it's true as it's speculated from a magazine of all things while yes is correct about Roaring Moon's relation to Mega Salamance it has also as far as we know been completely wrong. Take Scream Tail's dex/magazine for example, as far as we the players know the universe of Pokemon isn't even a billion years old and the oldest known land dwelling Pokemon that's not a Regi or Mew was an ancient version of Genesect 300 million years ago. For the future ones we do know speculation can be a bit unhinged, just look at Iron Jugulis' dex/magazine where it's speculated it's the result of a Hydreigon falling in love with a robot, which we know is extremely unlikely thanks to multiple dex entries talking about how violent and destructive it is.

MemberIf I remember correctly, the other day I've seen a theory from a spanish pokemon youtuber called Karimero that said that the paradox pokemons are conceptions of the human mind. Think about it: Roaring moon it's basically a conception of a possible ancient version of Salamance based on it's Mega-evolution, and the megas didn't existed until the annihilation machine was created a couple thousands of years ago of today, not millions of years. Like this he gives more examples of it, so if you want to watch it just search in youtube "Karimero LOS POKEMON PARADOX SON UNA MENTIRA" and you'll get it.
A little spoiler it's that in this video where he talks about the ancient forms (a previous one is talking about the future ones) he mentions that Sandy Shocks doesn't make any sense of the pokemon itself 'cuz it's composed of metal pieces (like screws) that doesn't belong to the so supposed "PAST" where it comes from (he explains it better than me, I promise).
Pretty interesting the guy, I recommend it nwn
