"Crowchild has officially given her a last name: Bella Ferrari"

  • Crowchild's games may be mediocre by todays standards but you can't deny some of his girls are still absolutely gorgeous, it's just a shame there isn't more art like this of them.

Bella is definitely one of said girls and this is just about the only picture of her I've seen so far that's done her justice.

There was a good reason why. High Tail Hall's previous model of "Free-To-Play Game with Exclusive Content" was switched to "Paid Game with Free Demo" in January 2017 because it was affecting HTH Studio's ability to financially keep afloat. Too many players were thinking "Why should I pay for a gold subscription when the scene will eventually go free in x months?"

People just refuse to see that HTH Studios is a BUSINESS. They are not like who they were in the past, where Crowchild already had a job and was working on High Tail Hall as a side project for fun. In fact, they wouldn't be where they are right now if Crowchild kept High Tail Hall as a side project instead of committing to it full-time (Around SEVENTY HOURS a week).

HTH Studios has to charge players for what they are producing in order to pay for voice acting, better equipment, and to give the staff paychecks. HTH Studios also has to charge players to pay for the website domain and the people who maintain it.

It's absolutely cringe-worthy to see people freak out over a FIVE-DOLLAR monthly subscription and complain that HTH Studios is "sitting on piles of cash". That is simply not true.

Please stop trying to prevent a business from growing.

Your entire essay would be valid if crow actually worked on the damn game, instead of fucking around and putting out a 0.1 alpha version several months after announcing that he was starting then.
