I think it's the wat they said it. Instead of saying "when will it be finished", they should have said "will it eventually be finished". When you use certain words in certain ways, it can sound like you're forcing or rushing an artist. Who, as someone said before, usually don't have deadlines. and that combined with not knowing the tone of voice since it's the internet, I think it's unsurprising they was down voted. Even though they probably meant no harm.
