  • I find the Amalgamatations to be rather intriguing. My favorite one is the dog like entity that corners you in the fan room.

Agreed. He (i.e. Endogeny) may be an eldritch abomination created because someone decided syringes were toys, but he's bloody adorable despite that.

True, but at least there was a (somewhat) noble intention behind his and the other amalgamete's creations. It just went horribly, horribly wrong.

I think the fact that they managed to reintegrate so well into society (well, at least Endogeny, the snowdrake amalgamate, and Lemon Bread - no Memoryhead or Reaper Bird in the playable epilogue) is because of this and the fact that, well, they should be little more than dust. Remember that Alphys' subjects were at death's door when she experimented with them, so it's safe to say that being trapped in a gestalt entity and not having much control over your fate is certainly preferable to no longer existing.

Not sure if I agree with that. I think it depends. I'd much rather not exist than be Flowey, personally. Yeesh.

I'm speaking about the Amalgamations, not Flowey. (Flowey's situation is nowhere near the Amalgamations'.)
