So I guess this was inspired by something that happened in real life? My commissioner had a very clear idea of the scene - two furry friends, slightly drunk, getting emotional in the rain. I've drawn night scenes before but never rain scenes so this was definitely new to me. Also new to me was having two light sources - the night sky and the warm streetlights. It posed a bit of a challenge, I have to admit XD.

BlockedIt was beautiful, in fact, everything evoked a little bit of emotion from the characters who were in the rain on the sidewalks on such beautiful streets and were encouraged to continue with the characters that looked. Look at the friend sitting there. The scene of the scenery there blends very well with the rain, it is really beautiful.
