I'm certain there's many who would appreciate that instead of waiting patiently for the upload counter to get back up, you could at least try tagging artists and sourcing your posts.

Something like post #1632210 has artists signature *in plain text,* yet was tagged with no artists, not even unknown or anonymous.

I don't know how, sorry :/ Gotta figure out how to do it cause its not as simple as just typing the name in the tag.

If you have zero idea how to search for sources, then least you can do is tag unknown_artist, (if there's signature also unknown_artist_signature) and source_request. Also with chans you should see original filename next to chans post ID, so copy-pasting that will help immensily as those usually have artists account names, submission names, submission IDs and even epoch timestamps which will help immensily with searching, so copying that to description will help a lot.

Tagging really is that easy. If the artist already has stuff in here, then tag them regularly and it's automatically artist tag. If we don't have anything with that artist tag yet, then you can change the tags type from Tags on top panel or writing artist:<artistag> the first time you are tagging it. You can also search for if artist has multiple names from Artists on top panel. Even wrongly written down artist name is already far better from nothing at all.

Also do keep in mind that chans don't have same rules and guidelines we have, if they post leaked paid material and you post it here, you are the one getting record for posting the content.
