April 10th: The bill has been vetoed!
April 2nd: The politicians in Arizona are about to sign into law a bill that would mandate sites like e621 to either impose age verification on all users or be at a risk of lawsuits. Such system would be required to go through third party vendors, who in turn must go through a government database to verify every user's age. This is not only a major violation of privacy, but it also opens up a very real danger of identity theft through phishing schemes and other methods, not to mention that we would not be able to control any of that information to make sure it is permanently deleted after age verification is complete.
Unfortunately, Arizona is the state out of which e621 operates, which means that this law will almost certainly affect us if it is to pass. If want to help us ensure that this site can continue to serve you without being required to know who you are, please ask the Arizona governor to veto this bill.
Please, help us get the word out by letting others know about this issue.
For some further information on what the bill does have a look at https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2586/
We still have a Discord server, come talk to us!

MemberI'm noticing that the taggers can't decide if this is young or not..
Evellon
MemberI mean they look young enough to deserve the tag but not so much that it is obligatory. Specially if one looks at other pics of the characters. I think it's the uniforms the thing that confuses people.

MemberNothing confusing about it. They're wearing what appear to be Japanese school uniforms, as well as having petite body types that are in line with teenage girls. Thus, this should be tagged with "teenager" according to TWYS, and this tag automatically adds "young".
If they are adults and are just dressing up or something, then this would deserve the "adult_(lore)" tag, but I don't know enough about the characters to say whether they are or not, so I'll leave that up to the artist or character owners.
Evellon
MemberOf course, I did say they look young. But they also look like they could be adults. Personally I say better safe than sorry, but it IS a bit confusing.

MemberActually character owner detags that shit and it still gets tagged "young". Honest to god miss me with that shit and stop being annoying -.-
Jadrin Elwyn
MemberI'm just following TWYS. They look and are dressed (excluding the lack of undergarments) like school girls, and should therefore be tagged as teenagers. You say they're not actually teens, then it deserves the "adult_(lore)" tag. If you have a problem with that teenager tag adding young, then take it up with the staff, but this image definitely deserves the teenager tag.
