Brushtober really pushed this back but i think i'm done with it.
I messed up alot of stuff that i can't fix now. However I think it's good I know whats wrong so i can try to do better next time!
I recently (at the time of conceiving the plans for this pic) had been seeing pics from really good artists of characters that were sad or upset. I dont know why I liked them so much, maybe they brought more emotion then the usual happy or pleasured pics. I really wanted to try a hand at this idea and see if i could convey the same weight these pics did for me.
I'm done with this piece now and im not sure I did it well, I'd like to get could with emotions through characters faces but I guess I've got a ways to go (just means more practicing)
All this and the overall composition is wack, things like how all the lines of the room pull your eyes away from the character towards the background. I fixed some of it by brightening up the character aswell as darkening the room, cropping it and blurring the stuff behind the character which also means loosing alot of work I put into the room and the lighting of the character not making perfect sense (.ie. breasts)
It still feels like it's missing something but I couldn't figure it out. So have it the best I could.
