Had a folder named “Proto NoLegs” from recently-ish, which inside had an ancient 2015 prototype thing of a bat pony oc, as seen HERE.

Evidently that was the original vague first draft, that evidently didn’t go anywhere, because I eventually asked duskthebatpack for help in making NoLegs as she appears today, resulting in the vector for her appearance.

Still had this thing around I guess, and I must have forgotten what I meant to do with the file and folder, so I decided to like, mess with it and spin a minor oc out of it I guess, I won’t really draw her much (or ever really), but it’s neat background fluff I suppose.

This is Prototyp, a bat pony without wings.
Her mother is an earth pony who is an engineer at REPCORP, and her father is a bat pony and a PMC with the same company.

Prototyp is around Nightseekers age (iirc should be 27, assuming he was 7 years older than Leg), she’s an adventurer - but who through her mother has managed to become contracted directly by REPCORP to do jobs for them (usually item retrieval and whatnot), so she has access to gear and stuff from them, like her unwieldy as fuck jet pack and fall dampening boots (so she doesn’t break her legs landing).

She is not a particularly good person.
She is very arrogant and cocky, and has this constant air of superiority and is overly self confident and lacking in self awareness of her bad attitude and behavior towards people. She is also really childish and immature.

Bad attitude attracts bad company, and as such she has many friends and acquaintances who are quite bluntly kind of a bunch of assholes, so lotta mercs of the bad sort, thuggish types, criminal folk, etc. Her friends sometimes joke that she’d be perfect Shadowbolt material, if she’d been born with wings.

She is very aware of NoLegs, has met her, and is jealous of her accomplishments, to the point where it frustrates and anger her, and she has straight up declared herself to be NoLeg’s “rival”, a very one sided action as NoLegs has no idea who she even is and why she is bothering her, and avoids her as best she can.

In terms of skills and ability, she’s relatively fit, but significantly less so than NoLegs, and is more reliant on tech to succeed at the adventuring trade than the raw grit and skill of someone like Leg. She is cunning however, and knows how to get herself out of bad situations.
Her combat skills are very average, and she spends little time honing her skills between trips.

She is a lesbian, and has never had interest in boys. To her fathers dismay, she hates fruit, and thinks bat pony culture is stupid and backwards. She is not religious, not patriotic, and really only cares about herself.
