itd be a her i dont care what people will say a cuntboy is just a girl that looks like a guy

Sonny is a cuntboy so you're still wrong. That's like calling a scalie with a vertical genital slit a female. Also, I don't know if you know this but females have ovaries :) cuntboys have testicles where the ovaries would be and therefore can be impregnated but only by dick girls. Cuntboys are still boys and are still "he/him"

  • Holy fucking shit. I want to bang Sonny Boop so goddamn bad. I can't stand it anymore. Every time I search sonny_boop on e621 I get a massive erection. I've seen literally every rule 34 post there is of him online. My dreams are nothing but constant fucking sex with Sonny. I'm sick of waking up every morning with six nuts in my boxers and knowing that those are nuts that should've been busted inside of Sonny's tight boy pussy. I want him to have my mutant human/rabbit babies.

Fuck, my fucking mom caught me with the neighbors rabbit. I'd dressed her in my brother's hoodie and went to fucking town. She hasn't said a word to me in 10 hours and I'm worried she's gonna take away my phone. I might not ever get to see Sonny again.

  • i’m just hoping soon they can add a way to blacklist comments or anything, yall mfs are screaming over a damn OC, WHICH ISNT EVEN YOURS NOR YOU COMMISSIONED IT, so just stop fighting about “gender is gender”, artists, staff and people who commissioned the character choose, not you.

    Based
Edit: I bigly disagree that staff should have any say in the character's gender, that's exclusive to the creator and partially the artist, though if it goes against the wishes of the creator, I don't approve

Well there're options, like "hide every comment", "comment threshold" and "blacklist users" in the settings.

the best thing here is black listing users, there should be a setting so you can hide comments that have either rude, disliked, offensive, you name it kind of words but thanks for telling me

i mean, that is true but it’s not the creators website, i get what your trying to say here but either your saying that the creator gets to choose the gender, not the staff

Yes the creator gets to choose the gender of their own character, why should the staff have any say in the creative process? The simple fact they manage an image hosting website isn't a good justification to allow them to interfere in a character's gender identity or "classification"

it’s probably to whittle out and filter posts, not by what it is but what it looks like, creator should have a say but not completely

You just described the TWYS system and what's wrong with it. Just because something looks a way doesn't make it that way. That's the entire problem. TWYS puts the artist in the back seat and their statements about what the image is (because they made the image, they have ultimate authority) is ignored and what others see and interpret is favored.

The lore tags are made to "correct" any information that TWYS is either providing incorrectly or is impossible to cover by. It wouldn't be added on this image, though, since there's nothing to correct.

When I search the female tag, I want to see a character that looks exclusively female with no mixture of body features from the other gender. Same goes for when I search the male tag. If I'm searching for a lemon, I want to see a lemon in my results, not a lime.

It's not your personal labeling system like FA. If the site started allowing artists/character owners to screw with the policy, it's going to mess things up for other users just looking for what they want.

Ok but would you want a lime painted yellow to look like a lemon? No you want lemons
Your own argument defeats itself, you want what you are searching for, not things that look like what you are searching for but actually aren't. Any search algorithm that does that is a bad one. Tag what you see literally makes it so people do not get what they search for, they get limes labeled as lemons because people thought they were too yellow
It's actually absurd that people like this system, it literally gives you shit you didn't want in your search
When you search female for instance, you should not see crossdressing dudes, and yet you will because this site will not let the creator have a say

I like how by creating the lore tags they've tacitly admitted its an issue, but rather than actually fixing the system they just added more confusing tags
    Good job guys lmao

Crossdressing is for male/masculine characters wearing female/feminine clothing and vice versa. If it's missing or improperly applied for whatever reason, I can edit the post to add or remove it based on what I see in that image alone. It takes only a few seconds to fix.

If I had cub on my blacklist while searching, I don't want characters that look like children slipping through the cracks just because the artist says "they're totally adults, guys." This especially applies if a user is in a country where viewing such content is illegal, where people not in the know will only see that character's child-looking appearance. When I search for "rating:explicit solo male -girly", I don't want to see a feminine-looking male because of some artist's lore about how it's not considered feminine in-universe. When I search female, I don't want Barret Wallace from FF7 with no physical changes showing up in my results because the artist says he's a female in some AU or something similar.

From the start, the site was always content-oriented, not artist-oriented. There's dozens of other websites with the latter in mind. I understand that TWYS is such a hard concept to grasp, but if even an admin can't get it through your head, I don't think anything can.

i did not do anything. i just seen the post and decided to join in, maybe not the best choice, although it may be their artwork, it isnt their website, its not like the staff and making it really strict, the staff are just changing the tags to fit appropriately with the art by their choice

The staff control the website, the staff control the rules, so the blame lies with the staff for the rules. It's a completely arbirary set of rules that produces the worst tagging experience, so bad it's a meme.
