I'm not sure he really is. Certainly not in the last three panels. And he is definitely a lot less attentive now.

All I know is that he's surrounded by his enemies. He's definitely overestimated being transformed into a dragon by magic. The heavy hitters like Trace, Rose, and maybe Raine haven't even begun to fight him yet, and he's already in trouble. Not to mention what Brutus might do if he recovers enough to get involved.

Trace is a maybe, Rose left with Saria, I doubt Raine would resort to violence, & Brutus probably doesn't know he was poisoned even if we know he was.

Also isn't this a magical shape shifted form? How much actual damedge has been delt to him that he can't just magic away? Maybe I'm overestimating his magic, he's definitely bleeding and hurt it seems, but if anything I think he's likely to cut his losses and just run before letting himself take any more hits.

On one hand, this might be a life-or-death scenario, so she has to fight

On one hand, I underestimate how much magic Clovis has because I doubt he can regenerate magic like a dragon.

On the other hand, if Clovis wanted Natani dead, he would've instantly killed him like Roan.

Yeah, thought so. Would get angry and blinded, get stabbed. Now to see if it did anything. I would prefer to have Reni back, especially over . . . him as a villain

Huh... For some reason, I thought the dragons in twokinds were strong enough to tank basic weapons. Guess not, this suddenly became a lot more doable.

we have seen before that stone at least could make bloody scratches on reni, but one should note that reni is quite probably quite a bit weaker than the avarage dragon, as she has enough human on her that she is biologically about as old as her chronological age, so its possible other dragons could take basic weapons
