It was another sold out show for Zest, a metal concert at that, as the bat hurried along backstage to get things ready for the big performance. This particular one was drawing more of a crowd than usual as he'd promised something 'extra' compared to the last few shows he'd done that year, though he was currently in the midst of trying to locate said 'extra'.

"Saul, have you seen Iddy in the past while? Shows starting soon, gotta make sure hes ready."

"Sorry, been calibrating some of the equipment back here. Last time I saw him he was pacing around somewhere. Big guy looked nervous."

"Gah, thanks anyway. I'll go check our practice area, he usually hangs around there." The metal outfitted bat shook his head as he quickly headed to where they kept some of the extra instruments, hoping he'd find the boar there.

Sure enough his instincts seemed to hold true as he could hear the sound of a bass being practiced nearby. He shook his head slightly as he headed towards where it was coming from, finding his boar sitting on a box while going through some of the sets he had been training with all that week.

"Yo, Iddy? Glad to see you practicing and all but we got a show to do soon." Zest spoke up as he spotted him the boar jumping slightly as he'd been pretty focused.

"H-Huh? Oh... Uhm sorry Zest. Just... getting kind of anxious I suppose." The boar took a deep breath, at the very least already dressed in the custom made outfit that Zest had gotten for him some time ago. He still needed his face paint however, the bat making his way over to him while pulling out some extra.

"The hell you so nervous about? You've preformed before big guy."

"T-That was in a group effort though. It wasn't just the two of us." He looked up as the bat grabbed his chin to make him look up so he could start applying the corpse paint.

"Heh this isn't out first time performing as a duo and you know it Iddy. You can't tell me you forgot what happened when you came to get me from those douchebags."

The boar opened his mouth to reply but quickly closed it, or rather Zest did so he wouldn't mess up the face paint. Of course he remembered it, the members of his old order having started to get so fed up with the bat and his 'evil' music that they had gone so far as to kidnap him to most likely 'remove' him as an obstacle.

"You can't tell me that you AREN'T the same confident guy who not only busted into an angelic base with only one other person, but also dressed up like you are now. You pissed them off sooo badly." The bat laughed, before giving Idwyn a grin, the boar just looking to the side slightly.

"Uh... Well..."

"Come on, enough of that you. I wanna see the same confident boar I saw up there when we worked together. I want your soul to be in synch with mine again tonight, got it?"

"..." The boar slightly smirked as Zest finished up the paint, pointing him towards a mirror nearby so Idwyn could get a better look. A slight grin formed on his face, that same feeling rushing into him again as he got up and shook his own head. "You're right, I've handled worse than a crowd of people looking for some good metal."

"Damn right you have." The bat's grin widened as he pulled his boar in for a quick, but firm kiss before giving him a nod "We're gonna give em hell tonight, so lets get our asses out there."

"Got it." He nodded back to him with a grin of his own, the pair grabbing their instruments as they headed for the stage. Saul seemed like he had gotten everything set up for him, giving Zest a thumbs up as the bat took to the stage first to get the crowd riled up.
"WHO HERES READY FOR A TASTE OF METAL?!" He shouted into his microphone, getting his fans cheering already before he pointed towards the side of the stage "GOOD, CAUSE YOU'RE IN FOR A DOUBLE DOSE OF IT TONIGHT! GIVE UP FOR THE NEWEST ADDITION TO MY SHOWS, IDDY!" The boar took a deep breath as he heard his cue to step out on stage, briskly doing so as Zest already began into their first song of the night.

He took his place next to the bat, waiting for his part of the song to start up before joining in, letting their music take him from there.
