April 10th: The bill has been vetoed!
April 2nd: The politicians in Arizona are about to sign into law a bill that would mandate sites like e621 to either impose age verification on all users or be at a risk of lawsuits. Such system would be required to go through third party vendors, who in turn must go through a government database to verify every user's age. This is not only a major violation of privacy, but it also opens up a very real danger of identity theft through phishing schemes and other methods, not to mention that we would not be able to control any of that information to make sure it is permanently deleted after age verification is complete.
Unfortunately, Arizona is the state out of which e621 operates, which means that this law will almost certainly affect us if it is to pass. If want to help us ensure that this site can continue to serve you without being required to know who you are, please ask the Arizona governor to veto this bill.
Please, help us get the word out by letting others know about this issue.

MemberMaking gender+species tags would be too much work. If we introduce gender+species tags, everyone would have to go through every post, every species, just to satisfy the new norm. It would be a massive headache because there are 6 gender tags, along with 1 genderless tag, not to mention there are thousands if not tens of thousands of species tags. For argument sake, let's say there are 3000 species. Times that by the 7 gender tags, and you got 21,000 new tags you have to not only code and create for the tagging system, but then you have to go through the million plus posts to incorporate those.
It's much easier just to search for the tags suggested to you by dracotay and search through the pictures for the ones you're looking for.

MemberIf so then it shouldn't need cock_worship, humanoid_penis, if you just need to use separate tags. The problem is it won't be precisely as much as these tags alone. If I look for "cock worship" it will show EVERYTHING with these tags, which can be images with character worshipping their male master as whole instead of their cock, or an humanoid fox with a horse cock.
The whole point of tags is to reach their objective straightfowardly instead of typing a lot of several separate tags (which in case you didn't notice, it has a limit of tags you can search) to finally have what you are looking for.

MemberWell, again, changing the tagging system to incorporate gender+species tags would be too much. We'll have to think of an alternative, something that doesn't create 21K tags.
A better suggestion would be making a gender+higherspecies tag, for example, male_canine, male_equine, male_dragon, etc. That way about 300 to 500 tags need to be created. And since Renamon is a canine, it would satisfy your search wants.
