Description

While running a live MLP: One of my players, "midnight star" went on a little thief chase with a pegasus mare, after tumbling down a cliff side he decided to try and swing his warhammer at the mare....

Things took a harsh turn. X3 and he rolled a natural one on his D20....then confirmed it. so the Everfree forest now has a residential war hammer lodged somewhere in it's bowels.

and now he has a platoon of newbie soldiers laughing at him.

  • my friends finally got me to play DnD, I made a paladin, my buddy made a ranger... and he is the world's worst ranger. He misses traps everywhere, usually getting caught in them. He is barely able to detect if there are any enemies in the area and the DM will usually give a vague answer when he gets a successful roll. He went to shoot at an enemy, rolled a one and managed to shoot me. Not to mention hes nearly been killed several times, usually requiring me to spend my turn to heal him lol. good times tho.

ok, I may be a year late, and not into this fandom, but there's this pathfinder campaign setting called pony finder thats basically mlp in pathfinder. and if you live in the area, its creator is trying to get a game going at it's your move games in oakland.

Never too late, and I'm glad for the info. I'm nowhere near Oakland unfortunately, but I hope that that game turns out awesomely.
I have seen Ponyfinder and read into a bit of it, and I wasn't sure whether to feel like I was getting fucked with or not. Ever since the first attempt at this was just an April Fool's Joke, I'm generally suspicious of anyone who seems to share my same ideas, assuming they're just D&Ders wanting to make fun of the concept rather than actuall play it.
But knowing what you've said, I'm definitely intrigued, and I might give it another look. I actually brute forced my own system from the pathfinder rules, which wasn't terribly difficult, and ran a campaign for a little while that people seemed to enjoy. Ponyfinder might work for what I'd like to play, and if I can get a group and the time together I'd love to pick it up again.
