I also think. He was talking with satisfaction about the family.
Clearly, he didn't want to sound like someone who got stuck in a marriage just out of a sense of responsibility for his children.
The conversation was so good and suddenly there was an unexpected tension.
Keith seems to be doing a lot better than Serah realizes.

I know there's still quite a few people annoyed by the lack of gratuitous tiddies, but I'm genuinely enjoying the amount of world building in this one 🙂

Which makes me wonder all the more about why there's so much hostility toward Keith from Serah

I get that this comic going for a more realistic angle is probably right up people's alley, but honestly it's kinda turning me off it.

i came for the porn i stayed for the story , because thats some good stuff better then what runs on tv or in movie theaters these lately

I mean, it's not like Seb is wrong. I don't think that his mom and dad would have gotten married and stayed together as long as they did if they didn't have Seb and Serah.

I think eventually his dad would have gotten together with Jayden instead or been in an on/off relationship with her rather than Seb's mom.

I know his dad doesn't want it to seem that way, to keep Seb from feeling unwanted because clearly he loves his children even though they were technically a mistake, but, if everyone is being honest with each other, the kids WERE an unexpected thing, they weren't planned, and that clearly affected their relationship and made them try harder than they otherwise would have to make things work.

Sure, he still loves his children, but that doesn't mean that he didn't have second thoughts in the beginning, he only became attached to them after they were born.

It's a dark narrative, but it's the realistic one. He could have easily turned into one of those dad's who had unexpected children and decides that staying with the mother is not in his best interest and they could have had dual custody instead with him marrying Jayden instead.

Seb and Serah could have grown up with Jayden as the step mom their whole lives instead and possibly some other guy as their step dad.
