How ironic would it be if we're going to see these legendaries get flattened by people with common pokemon but they're IVs and such are way higher.

Like say, a butterfree wipes the floor with one of them.

Yeah it would be easy but it just gives me a flashback to Ash vs Tobias, I mean for this case at least Silver would be the over-powered one. Though if nothing bad happens, it would neat to finally see a battle in this format even just for a little bit.

Legendaries do usually have slightly higher stat averages compared to other Pokémon with similar IVs. That said, a player who knows and actually cares about all that will always have an advantage over a player who doesn't unless said player who doesn't happened to get a really lucky capture of something with stupid IVs 😁

And anyone good at the game is bored using such a team. Hence why the all legendary and starter teams are usually the kids :P
