The destruction of Solace, one of the most popular farming towns in Brandir's County, marked one of the greatest tragedies in the history of the kingdom. Known for its wealth, active population and flourishing commerce, this city of a thousand faces was a showcase for inter-continental trade, a feat that in human terms was the culmination of years of hard work and sacrifice. However, like all the cities and villages that make up the kingdom, they all had a tribute to pay to the imperial dragons - to be allowed to live peacefully on the sacred ground. The delays began to accumulate as well as the debts... The greed of the dragons, their needs only increased, soon, it became impossible for Solace to produce... An abyss in which they could not get out of, forcing the impatience and the rage of the new masters who ended up taking action in order to punish the inhabitants having provided all the possible and imaginable efforts to satsify the king of blood and darkness....with no success... The few survivors remember and tell their ordeal. That day when everything they had built in pain, vanished, burned, consumed and stolen in a few hours..... Nobody was spared, men, women, children... The price to pay was the blood of innocents. The violence of this assault marked the minds and the only vision engraved still today in the mind of humanity was that of two behemoths having finally collected what belonged to them by right at the price of the suffering and the life of their victims, leaving behind them only death and desolation in their wake.
