Thought the rule was "tag what you see" NOT what you're told. And seeing as I cannot see that this is indeed Shining Armor (no blue hair, no cutie mark, etc), I am going to fix this tag.

Character names can be tagged from the source, as long as there's at least some visual evidence to support it. See post #652657.

In this case, the skin color matches and the cock implies that the male is an equine. Flimsy evidence, maybe, but evidence nonetheless.

Oh. I didn't know they changed the rules to allow for source info. I was basing things off the how they used to be. A prime example of what I was basing it off of was this pic https://e621.net/post/show/259210 ; years ago, even though it was clearly labeled from the source as Mrs. Cake, because folks said there was no identifying marks (other than fur/skin color and the color of her pubes PLUS her chubby body) that you couldn't label it as Mrs. Cake.

Though if what you're saying is true (and I have no reason to doubt you), then why the heck isn't the Mrs. Cake pic labeled as such? Perhaps I should get an admin to check into it (seems folks keep changing the tag even AFTER it was changed to be labeled correct in accordance to the new rules).

That rule didn't exist three years ago. So yes, having the admin take an another look at it might be a good idea. The source is gone which makes it harder to confirm, but the original filename says Mrs. Cake.

and they clearly have it labeled that is is her. Anyways, again I apologize as I didn't know the change in the rule, and I will definitely keep it in mind for future tagging so as not to mess things up.
