It is a bit of a let down…Amon is finally expressing his wants to Monique and after the huge build up of how controlling Monique is she just immediately without any protest or anything just lets it happen…

The thing is Amon running away like that isnt super adult and I am surprised that Monique isnt using that to say he isnt ready to make adult choices.

I really love this comic, its just this page doesn’t fit with what we have come to know at least so quickly.

I love this comic. whether or not Monique fought or did as she did here. it still would only have added an extra page and have been just as good an ending. (in my oponion)

Well, these last 2 pages were a huge turn off for me.
Waaay to fast, no real conversation, "I am good, you good, okay, bye". I was really hoping for a heart-to-heart conversation between Monique and Amon about their feelings but, for some reason, there wasn't any (or never need it in the first place?).
Don't know, it's almost as if the autor wanted to end this chapter as quickly as possible.
Imo, I would prefer the chapter ended on previous page (or on page 25) and have a whole chapter about them two.

It was THAT easy?

That was wholesome and kinda surprising. I really thought Monique would be very much against Amon pursuing his relationship with Kyra, and I kinda expected her to really talk with Amon about it. Not just "I won't interfere."

I personally believe that was ultimately the right, and likely only choice Monique could have made while preserving her relationship with him as his mother, but I still would have liked the phone call to be deeper. Maybe Monique telling Amon that she was worried about him, and then him telling her why he ran away. Ultimately, it would have led to the same conclusion, but it would have expanded deeper into both Amon and Monique's relationship, and would have been able to explore Monique's character a little more.

I think it's because she's had time to think things over since last night, and people generally think more clearly when they've had time to calm down. She probably already spent some time convincing herself that Amon deserves to make his own life choices before he called. Or maybe she's just so relieved that she's willing to overlook it, or she doesn't want to scare him away again by getting angry. Her reaction honestly makes sense to me!

Either way, it's still great to see her respecting his decision to stay with Kyra! <3

Many people are and aren't satisfied with this ending, and I understand that completely. It's cool to see people discuss their views on the ending.For me, I respect the direction an artist takes with their stories. Sure, they can take feedback and implement requested story elements, but in the end, I like to believe Atrolux has their reasons for ending the chapter this way. same, I was expecting some heart wrenching drawn out drama, like in Associated Student Bodies.

One thing I've noticed with incest stories like this one or Oedeweypus complex by therita3k is that the pacing tends to go a little too fast. I say this for a multitude of reasons, but it mostly boils down to rushing to the climax, and butchering the endings, such as this one. On one hand I love the pacing of the story up until this point, but then it's like, they're all cool with it, lets move on. Honestly I think it just means more conflict to come, say for instants that Monique is over it for now simply because she's glad that Amon is okay, and yeah she might stay silent about it for now, but at some point she's gonna want to have a serious discussion about this with both Amon and Kyra. Speaking of who, I expected her to slap the shit out of Amon. Now I also appreciate the foreshadowing of a possible polyamorous incest relationship between Amon, Monique, and Kyra. But I would honestly suggest letting there be more of a loving romance between Amon and Monique rather then a sexual one. Like let him take her out as an apology and realize that he loves Monique as he does Kyra, but not is a way that he instantly wants to have sex with her.

It’s weird that the best trans representation ive seen in a long time came from an incest comic.

There likely will be. If you go to the Complete Series page, it'll show "5-", meaning if it had ended at 7, it'd be 5-7 (Or a new writer was brought on board).

I think we have different experiences with parents… if you’re just being comedic then ignore me, but not every parent is going to react that way and I think Monique’s reaction is not hard to justify.
