Here's a story, I'll try to keep it short. Last year, during the release of the bad guys I started working on a Miss Tarantula pic, but never finished it. I got so hung up on staying as on model on possible and didn't have access to dedicated character sheets to map off of. I pre-ordered the Bad Guys art book (Which is amazing btw) and the release kept getting delayed to the point where I got wrapped up in other projects by the time it showed up. So I didn't even open the book...just left it in the shrink wrap for a year until I actually had the time to sit down and read it through about a month ago. So, this brings us to this sketch set.

Miss Tarantula had a lot of different concept designs, like wildly different. One reminded me very much of Monsters Inc., and then there was the one I based these 'studies' on, the Miss Tarantula that looks like a fucking star fox character. Admittedly the upper two sketches are loose traces of the base concept art in the book I did in order to sort of...try to capture the style before moving on to my attempts on the lower half. Can you revise the design of an unused concept asset and claim it for yourself? Cause I love her.
