the fuck is "shi"? get that social justice shit out of here!

Everyone is entitled to use whatever they are comfortable with. As the person behind both the characters in this picture I'd personally use she because I really dislike "shi" as well, but I'm not going to go apeshit when someone says it.

    ... Maybe it's a typo?

Shi is a term that people have used to represent female presenting hermaphrodites for a long time in the fandom. It's kind of a portmanteau of she and him.

It came long before the whole modern "social justice" movement of people trying to make up labels for every possible headgender. I just don't like it because it's really distracting and is a pointless label, but I'm not going to complain when others use it.

    Well, I'm not following it.
That right there is a she to me, because she represents the feminine aspect.

It's much like how there is a movement today to give labels to a lot of fringe sexualities and gender identities, this was a way to give a label that (IMO) wasn't ever needed. This is why I too use she for both of these characters :P.

Get out of here kid. "Shi" has been a furry word for decades. 14 years at least. If you're so new to the internet that you think it's a tumblr word, then I doubt you're old enough to be here.

While I agree that it has been around for 14 years, it doesn't mean I have to follow suit. I prefer simpler terms of gender identity instead of more. That doesn't make me dumb, just rational.

Dang, autocarrot back at it again I guess.

...Speaking of proper pronouns, I wonder if it's included in new yorks list of 31 recognized gender identities? Welp, seems that isn't the case.
