Ratchet takes Rivet in his arms and caresses her face. Gazing into the crystalline sapphires that had so enthralled him since their first encounter, he reassures his beloved Rivet that it doesn't matter what anyone says, she will always be beautiful, and that her arm makes her special; it's part of her, and he loves everything about her, including her arm.
A tear wells up in her eye as the words of her boyfriend in his soft, deep voice waft over her ears, and her lip curls into a smile, her heart swelling with joy at the soothing reassurance from her boyfriend.
