Artist's Description

This commission is one of the most interesting ones I got. I'm confident that it's one of the strangest out there, but I should mention how it insinuates something grander and artsy.
There are many ways to see this image, one being a reminder of how these two, Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps, are, and always will be, fictional characters.
And as fictional characters they are in essence, immortal.
They will be around long after we're gone, and take form and evolve into things that will be completely different to how we know of them today.
Maybe in the future, people will watch Zootopia and its sequels on Mars or some other space colony. Or literally visit Nick and Judy in some advanced VR world 200 years or so from now and remember that these characters and their chemistry are still around, memorable and timeless.

That's my interpretation of this image at least, and I want to thank fiel7d for commissioning it. :)
