Between SV on release and R/B/G/Y, which game has the worst bugs?

It's not even a contest, it is Gen 1. The only gameplay-affecting bugs (as opposed to just visual glitches/poor optimisation) I have heard of in SV are a) Sometimes falling through the terrain, which to be fair seems to rarely happen in basically all 3D games, and the oversight where the Battle Stadium uses the same RNG seed for every battle.

Gen 1 has the Gen 1 miss, crits ignoring all status changes, the badge boost glitch, toxic also increasing leech seed damage every turn, focus energy decreasing rather than increasing crit chance, and that isn't even all of the issues with the battle engine! This is not even talking about the fact that Gen 1 is so broken that it has an RTA viable ACE setup.

Always thought those glitches were funny to use tho, once you learn about them, pokemon red gets extreme replayability just for the glitches alone.
That's why i hate people that tells me gen 1 is the worse, those glitches make me love the games even more because it's like unlock a completely different game: you can capture all pokemons, set your name in a way that the missigno glitch forces you to fight the strongest trainer in pokemon history, explore glitch cities, make "new" songs with zzazz, hang out in front of that truck and so on, the list is pretty long and makes me love gen 1 even more. just like the glitched dungeon and screen warp in Link's awakening.

That's not something i can say about SV, glitches there may be funny to look at but it remains unforgivable to tee them after people shunned cyberpunk 2077 and fallout 76. They really needed to delay the game

For sure. There are kusoges like Maka-Maka that are likely less broken.

This gen isn't even as broken as Sinnoh remakes either.
