April 10th: The bill has been vetoed!
April 2nd: The politicians in Arizona are about to sign into law a bill that would mandate sites like e621 to either impose age verification on all users or be at a risk of lawsuits. Such system would be required to go through third party vendors, who in turn must go through a government database to verify every user's age. This is not only a major violation of privacy, but it also opens up a very real danger of identity theft through phishing schemes and other methods, not to mention that we would not be able to control any of that information to make sure it is permanently deleted after age verification is complete.
Unfortunately, Arizona is the state out of which e621 operates, which means that this law will almost certainly affect us if it is to pass. If want to help us ensure that this site can continue to serve you without being required to know who you are, please ask the Arizona governor to veto this bill.
Please, help us get the word out by letting others know about this issue.

MemberI wonder why people always seem to think that snakes can hypnotize their prey when they really can't at all. Disney especially seems to make this sin a lot with Jungle Book and Robin Hood.

MemberI don't see a problem with it. It doesn't matter if it's unrealistic; for crying out loud we're on a website where horse dicks fit into anything and anyone, yet we're all OK with that.
Or better yet, when genitalia is just large. And we're still okay with that. What's a little thing like snakes doing hypnosis gonna do?

Memberactually, the vampire snake uses asphrosidiac to make any species it's lover, this have given me reason to believe that SOME snakes in the world, very rare ones, have thea ability akin of hypnosis by using asphrosdiacs, a type of venom not only used in food, but onethat snakes can use as a hypnotic agent, the vampire snake injects the venom into the rprey, making it the snakes lover, it then has its prey follow it back to its den and then... welll, you know the rest... asphrosdiaics are exceptionally good at raising your libido, if there was a cheap asphrosidiac that perma-raised your libido I would buy 12 dozen, just to visit the site every day with no care of any content, just fap... It's a nice concept but wikipedia tells me that there is no perma-asphrosidiac...
