My Anhes cyborg contest entry.
Miria Berliner is a sura (hostile divine entities) hunter. She lost her right arm killing a particularly resistant sura. She decided to use their corpse to create a prosthetic device to replace her lost limb. Little she knew said actions would permit it to regenerate and get back to life.
Not knowing what would happen if she tried to remove her prosthetic arm by force, the eagle and the sura, decided to make peace and start an alliance. Over time they grew a kind of friendship, and the sura gained a name, Schwarzwälder.
