If the internet has taught me anything... its that given time anything can make anyone horny we have battleships, blood cells, our own planet, microwaves, doorknobs, vending machines, bowser, soda cans, gems, etc and etc. Our species is nothing if not predictable like chuck from "I now pronounce you chuck and Larry". we'll see a big booba bridge in a month.

I totally agree. I do think the reason for this is that it's not just only for sexual gratification, but it also gives us a character to creatures, things, inanimate objects, etc. that we can talk to, be friends, siblings, or even a wife with you inside the comfort of your house, and wouldn't be judgemental as say other humans would. It also gives us a way to not feel lonely when that occurs. I do hope in the near future we get closer to having these creatures adn such come to life, without superpowers/abilities to destroy the world and such, to bring along or even live with us at home as anthro creatures/pets. But that's just me.
