Why not go for Herms then?

Not all futas are herms. But all herms are futas.
it just sounds like you're being pedantic about the wording.

Folks can be pedantic about the word, since it is mildly interchangeable. According to Wikipedia *yes, I know that it cannot be perfectly trusted for truth, but whatever* A hermaphrodite is "Historically, the term hermaphrodite has also been used to describe ambiguous genitalia and gonadal mosaicism in individuals of gonochoristic species, especially human beings. The word intersex has come into preferred usage for humans, since the word hermaphrodite is considered to be misleading and stigmatizing,[3][4] as well as "scientifically specious and clinically problematic"
While futanari, futa for short, is "Futanari (ふたなり, seldom: 二形, 双形, literally: dual form; 二成, 双成, literally: [to be of] two kinds) is the Japanese word for hermaphroditism, which is also used in a broader sense for androgyny.[1][2]:79, 81

Beyond Japan, the term is used to describe a commonly pornographic genre of eroge, comics, and anime which includes characters that show both primary sexual characteristics.[1] In today's language it refers almost exclusively to characters who have an overall feminine body, but have both female and male genitalia (although testicles are not always present). In that case, the term is also often abbreviated as futa(s), which is occasionally also used as a generalized term for the works itself"

Yes, I copy and pasted directly from the page, since it just works better for me.
Now what I like about using futa in such cases as this picture is what the Wikipedia page says about them. "In today's language it refers almost exclusively to characters who have an overall feminine body, but have both female and male genitalia (although testicles are not always present)"
