April 10th: The bill has been vetoed!
April 2nd: The politicians in Arizona are about to sign into law a bill that would mandate sites like e621 to either impose age verification on all users or be at a risk of lawsuits. Such system would be required to go through third party vendors, who in turn must go through a government database to verify every user's age. This is not only a major violation of privacy, but it also opens up a very real danger of identity theft through phishing schemes and other methods, not to mention that we would not be able to control any of that information to make sure it is permanently deleted after age verification is complete.
Unfortunately, Arizona is the state out of which e621 operates, which means that this law will almost certainly affect us if it is to pass. If want to help us ensure that this site can continue to serve you without being required to know who you are, please ask the Arizona governor to veto this bill.

Mordecai is a heartless peace of shit and I hate how a lot of the storys I get interested in just get the same. kill the characters we fall in love with and wish them luck in there adventures feels like nothing but a slap in the face....what I'm trying to say is it...hurts....to get interested in such amazing storys just to find out its meaning less I really how that snake spirit thing does something to fix this like pretect his soul and reform his body bringing him back CAUSE A CLONE IS NOT THE SAME a copy is not the original.... sorry just thot I'd share my feelings and like I said it hurts and no one likes that feeling when they put time in to keeping up with it just to hurt its NOT a good feeling and I'm sure there are some that know what I mean when I say those words (it hurts).

MemberDid you... not even remember the fact that Mordecai was going to kill him in the beginning either way? I’m not saying that you SHOULDN’T dislike a character; that shows they successfully put an interesting dynamic with the world, but being surprised that he’d kill after all of the threats he was willing to go through with isn’t thinking in the scope of the story. Tone was already well set with how little regard he gave Noah.
Lemondeer has a story in the works and it’s clear that Noah is still an integral part of the story in someway, and we just gotta see where it goes, dark or not. Ain’t any breaks on this crazy ride.

MemberThis has gotta be the dumbest thing I've read. You clearly didn't understand the story or read it all the way. Lemon says on PAGE 2 that the comic will include death, and Mort obviously was planning to do something bad. The fans that did fanart are still fans because they've got brains and can parse more than the simple content most people put out. You obv need to go n read something your speed.
Also Noah is revived. That's the whole point of this story. Lemon has said as much in multiple places. This is less of a vore fic and more of an examination of some really existential themes that just happen to include som vore.

Maybe read chapter 4 if it's so upsetting to you that you have to freak out about it all over the place??? I would put all my money on Noah coming back and being fine. Lemon has said he's the main character for the next 20 chapters, so she clearly has a a plan. Maybe a little trust in the author? You clearly enjoyed some part of this? Or maybe you're just a child in which case this is the wrong site for you.

MemberI mean...trusting the author is earned not automatic, plenty of authors have written something good and interesting only to be obsessed with a dark twist, a sad end, or a character they want to be more important than is wanted by the audience and end up kinda ruining the story to the point that it tarnishes everything you just read through and makes so you actually regret having ever read it.
My advice is when it looks bad like that, take a break put the story on the side and maybe check back later and peek at the later pages to see if it looks like it went the bad route or not.

MemberThe problem is that really Mort has passed the point of no return in terms of being an irredeemable character.
I think Lemondeer wanted to convey that Mort was a 'monster', but erred on the side of making him.. a bit too heartless. Why show the flashback of Mort somewhat relating to the scared, helpless Noah in a flashback, before painfully ending his life without hesitations mere pages later.
I love Lemondeer's art, and I'm not expecting a vore comic to have the richest story out there, but I can't engage in this story anymore when the entire time Mort has been an absolute douche followed by killing him off painfully.
I know Noah's making a return (I don't think Lemon would flesh them out so much just to kill it all off), but considering the pages of torture we've seen up til this point, It's just going to make all the chemistry going forward with the two feel.. contrived.

MemberI personally think that this comic is really good! I don't have a thing for vore, but this is different for some odd reason. While Mordecai is a greedy character, some of the stuff he does makes sense, and works well for his character. Haven't read onward, but I have a feeling something is going to happen due to Mordecai killing Noah. Overall, its not that bad in my opinion, has a great art style, surprisingly not the worst dialogue, and is actually interesting, as I honestly want to keep on reading. Assuming this isn't intended to be a sexual thing, I really like this overall. However I think that Noah should have been alive a bit longer, so things could be explained a bit better.
Not bad, I'd give it a 7 or 6/10 so far.

Memberidgi theres a cw on the title page (of mordecai eating noah, no less) for vore and violence. imo, so far, everyone has really vague motives, so i personally dont find the events particularly significant
