  • Lunatone is the only one that makes sense.

She needs umbreon for it's ties into the moon and night time. She needs Cresellia, she needs Clefable.

C'mon people, it's not hard to see what best matches said pokemon user.

Because it gets colder at night, I guess...?

Maybe where you live, but where I live day and night are both hot.

In most places of the world, it's always colder at night, may not be cold, but colder then day.

  • Pssh, I call bullshit. Luna gets 5 Legendaries in her team and no one else has even 1?

Come on, people. Luna's awesome, but she gets blown out of proportion so many times over.

Why does she have an Articuno? What the fuck does the moon have to do with ice?

You've never looked into the temperatures the moon's surface gets down to in the dark, before, have you?

Yeah, it gets cold, it doesn't freeze. A year later, my opinion remains unchanged.

The hell it doesn't. The moon has no significant amount of atmosphere, so like any celestial body that lacks atmosphere, it gets REALLY cold when not being directly exposed to the sun's rays. Negative 153 degrees celsius; or negative 243 fahrenheit, if you prefer imperial measurements. That's cold enough to freeze multiple times over.

  • Well, okay, negative 153 c is ONE estimate...Different sources list different estimates, but one thing they all agree on is it's below 0 c by numbers in the triple-digits. Considering 0 c is freezing...

No! Ice doesn't exist on the moon, and ice/snow isn't an exclusive nighttime thing. The only reason articuno is on this trainer card is because moltres is on Celestia's trainer card, in which case they were both just bad picks. Replace them with the Sun and Moon mascots; it's been two frickin year, the debate is dead, and it was pointless to begin with!

  • Personal reasons for every pokémon on her team
Zekrom black, hard to see during the night and also, lightning lights up the night sky
Lugia, mostly spends its time in Whirlpool Island, underappreciated by most people due to how destructive it is, can be related to Luna's problem with the night being underappreciated
    Darkrai, Nightmare Moon(simple)
Shiny Latios, not sure but I think it's the color scheme he has
Lunatone, related to the night and her name, Luna
Articuno, the nights can be considered cold, and just like the winter, it's cold, and it's mostly dark during the winter

these are my personal reasons for her having this team

Lugia could be because it's the legendary of the tides, which are caused by the Moon's gravitational pull.
