mea culpa, I'm not English, I better understood the comment "that he has no pouch" ^ ^ '

"He" Always refers to a male.
"She" Always refers to a female.
    "Him" Male
    "Her" Female
    "His" Male (possessive)
"Hers" Are you seeing a pattern?

Female marsupials have pouches whereas males do not. You must have thought "Pouch" meant something else. I don't want to know, but get your mind out of the gutter, lol.

    female (possessive) ? ^^

yes I know but there is so large differences in use of male/female between our language that I often forget such details.

For example, we do not use the "possessive" in the same way,
our "possessive" concern the gender of the possessed object, not the gender of the possessor :P (as in French, all nouns are either male or female)

Yet the english language doesnt make a different between "ils" (male "they") and "elles" (female "they").

The words male and female don't even translate litterally by mâle and femelle, but rather by masculin and féminin.

But i think the comments are digressing, like i said first : "alas, it's a trap".

No matter what one thinks of a picture, even if they perceive one character as female, the ultimate arbitrer when it comes to describing a picture is the artist him/herself.

It's a male, even if we don't like it.

That's not how e621 works. If you review the tagging conventions, you'll see we tag only based on what is evident in the image.

It's more along the lines of "It's whatever it looks like, even if the artist doesn't like it."

  • I know that we should normally be content to describe the visual appearance and I just see no prominence in his pants ^ ^
Women's underwear, feminine appearance, nothing in calleçon is a female :P

Ok, just kidding, stay on the tag male ;)
I know there are technical camouflage arms men with the tape ^ ^
Women without breast exist and there are even men born with a vagina instead of penis, finally, the furry fandom has invented nothing :P

  • Jeeze... so having either-or, a vagina or a penis, doesn't even define whether somebody is male or female anymore? (Not counting Herms, who decide for theirselves, of course.)

I mean damn, "he" even has a blinkin' camel-toe, and no sign of bulge from having a penis. And yet it's still a he. What happened to the good old days, when vagina=woman and penis=man? At this, for all I know my female teacher could actually be a man.

All that aside, whether this is a guy or a girl or what, I see a camel-toe, hinting at a vagina, and no bulge that suggests a penis. So, I'm just gonna fave it, think of it as a chick, and move on.
