"Before Starfleet took over, Equestria was a place of freedom, fun, and (most importantly) love. Love could blossom everywhere within reason, especially if the friendships that started those relationships were strong. One such love was between the competitive and loyal Rainbow Dash and the headstrong and honest Applejack.

It was easy to see how these two got together. They both pushed each-other forward in terms of competition, as well as bringing out their better qualities. Rainbow Dash was a free spirit, while Applejack had a strong work ethic. Each one admired each-other for their respective outlooks and the feelings between them continued to grow as the years went on. Eventually, while both were kind of shy when making the first move, they began their relationship in earnest when they kissed during the sunset after a warm heart-to-heart.

It could have been beautiful...before Starfleet came and ruined everything. However, even after Rainbow Dash became an outlaw, both hope to return to the days in which they could be in each-other's arms."
