Description

Prince Jabari the Anubian here as youngster learning to swim in small branch of the Nile river, while his family of wild jackals waits for him on the riverbank. While exploring the quieter waters, he finds a crocodile who has gotten stuck under a stone column. Jabari ends up able to move the column, rescuing the young crocodile. Unbeknownst to him, this crocodile is the reincarnated Sebek, a god of life, and will remember Jabari for his act of strength, saving his life…

Fun facts. Shrines to Sebek in Egypt included a live crocodile—who was believed to be Sebek imcarnate. Sebek was a fertility god at first, but later was attributed as a god of death and burial, much like Anubis.

Another one suitable for Croctober ^^
