  • I guess that explains why Twilight never tried to stop Spike's crush on Rarity. She gets to reap the benefits of his wet dreams.

    "San"?

In japanese, it is custom to add the suffix of "san" to someone when referring to them as a sign of respect. "friendly" people can use the suffix of "chan".

To show HIGH respect of someone, you'd use the suffix of "Sama"

To lack a suffix in saying someone's name is the equivalent of having a tone in your voice that basically says "I have no respect for you or your family, you insignificant shit."

True, but I'll honestly say I'm not completely sure for the usage of it.

I believe it's used in terms of "cute" reference to someone, often a younger sibling or someone who is adorable, but can be used in a teasing manner to someone you like, much like enlgish does with "baby names".

Alternate of no suffix a people who've known each other a long time and allow each other not to use suffixes, however I'm fairly sure it's most common in private and rarely in publc

Right, this is pretty rare though and, again, only in private or between people who are openly smartasses with eachother.
