Equipment Design Report 45 Sensation Wave Emitter Initial prototypes for the Sensation wave emitter have been completed, and are ready for testing. The latest in Storm king tech research, the wave emitter is the latest innovation to tactile stimulation. Via a combination of light and microwaves, the emitter is capable of directly stimulating nerves, eliciting a multitude of responses depending on the device’s settings. These can include:

An intense tickling sensation by overcharging nerves

An irritating, itch-like sensation

A massaging feeling designed to reward prisoners with feelings of pleasure, or a punishing setting to elicit sharp, controlled, and effectively harmless amounts of pain

Further development could also see capabilities in thermoregulation, creating sensations of hot or cold upon the target depending on what was desired

The key aspect of this device is that its effectiveness should not be dampened due to factors like hardened dragon scales. Leather restraints or clothes might partially dull the feeling, but only steel or other sound-absorbing materials can fully block it. In theory, this should make it particularly effective at rendering any creature utterly helpless.
