I'm pretty sure whoever desinged these realized how cumbersome and non-practical it was to have a party of humans and digimon, let's be honest, humans are not the most resistent beings when we talk about creatures powerful enough to destroy buildings, besides, usually they just press a button and watch, so now instead of that, it seems the programmer decided to turn the chosen into digimon as well, now they can fight and resist most of dangers and the party doesn't become cumbersome by the ammount of members!

Only issue is that whoever programmed it didn't noticed they put their nsfw folders where the textures where supposed to be, but I doubt that affects on the great scheme of things :p
