[Warning! Lore and Story ahead! Ye be warned!]

Max has not had a good year. At the start, he thought he hallucinated a giant gooey fox monster from space! And even after changing jobs to a restaurant he continued to encounter this slime fox, who was Summer, and newly gooey friend Rose. It really didn't help his anxiety when Cassie, the umbreon slimegirl, became apart of the staff.

Max is a person who has great imagination, but often it can fuel his paranoia. When it isn't, he is quite intelligent and a great worker. He gets a bit carried away with his work and often fully engrossed in it, be it whatever is is. He completed is courses in the college, still hanging around in town doing jobs as he plans his next step in life. But he's been more focused on the pokegirls in a very unhealthy way.

Trying to prove that they are evil, he's gone out of his way to gather evidence. His involvement of trying to collect video evidence lead to Cassie's transformation. He has stalked Summer and the other girls who've changed and were infected over the course of the year trying to collect evidence to varying degrees of success. He attempted to even steal a sample of the slime from Rose, while wearing a mask, near the college campus. His actions lead to another transformation of one of the campus security and friend of Cassie's into being doused and becoming another slimegirl.

He's only recently slowed down since Rose confronted him and chewed him out for both his stalking and tactless behavior to the girls. Leaving him be, a week passed by while Max dealt with the guilt of his actions and realizing what he had been doing over the past year.

As all the girls gathered in the restaurant to celebrate, it being one years since Summer became a ninetales and started all of this, their new bodies and lives and to have fun. As even Cassie joined in, Max decided to at least give a peace offering to ease his conscience. He had managed to pocket one vial of slime he stole from Rose a few weeks back, giving it back to her was probably the best way to fix this problem. Unfortunately he hide the slime vial in the freezer of the restaurant up behind some boxes where he couldn't reach without a step ladder.

Annoyed, he tried to get it down anyway. Shaking the metal shelves and standing on his toes and another box. Finally he could just touch the lid! ... and with bad luck he tipped the top of the vial and it's contents spilled over his hand. In seconds, his arm had become more dainty and feminine like as it started to crawl up his arm.

The slime itself was old samples Rose had taken from herself, but with a special chemical concoction mixed in that made them semi unbound. Meaning they could infect and turn someone else again if made contact with a unbound subject, and that it carried female characteristics that transferred to the new subject.

Yes, despite his carefulness and even his earlier fear, after a few minutes Max had become Maxine, a very busty and beautiful glaceon slimegirl. Panic was the first thing to come to Maxine's mind, but after a second she stopped and took a deep breath. Collecting herself, she decided that after a year of paranoia, worry, and panicking around those other girls was not how she should continue.

"Heck, can't beat'em... join'em!" With a grin she clocked out and with a swagger she went out to meet the other slimegirls. She was going to start off this "new" year right.
