What is wrong with sites like Fanfiction, AO3, Sofurry, or Furaffinity for posting the story?

bro, why discord of all places? Why not just upload onto Archive Of Our Own and Furaffinity? (the formatting can be a bit weird for Ao3)
I can see that you uploaded stories on FA just fine, why not post the rest?

Look, I won't lie that I'm pretty stubborn as a person when it comes to writing. I'm comfortable with using discord, it's easy for me to do across the board and most people have a discord. Along with that, I've gathered different creators to have a place to post when they may not be well known. Simple stuff

However, I have reflected and thought carefully over the situation of the works. I stand by wanting people to come to the discord sincerely because there are other artists who I think deserve to have their works given a place to be with some focus.

I stand by still wanting people to give these creators a chance.

So- I will start pursuing publishing some of the works with these creators mentioned. Some will still be exclusive to discord, some will be put to FA and Ao3. I'll compromise sincerely for the fact that I DO want people to still join the discord for the place it is while also not privatizing hard work.

Everyone here has a point but I also stand by my own. I hope you can respect that and yes, enjoy the stories when they finally release on the sites.

First of all, who are these "creators" you are referring to? Artists? Writers? Kind of hard to tell who.
Secondly, that's fine if you want other artists to have their own place to share their works but what we're talking about is mostly the fanfiction stories. If these "creators" do want themselves to be known, there are places like FA or any other place in particular to upload their work.

Again, WHO are these creators? I'd appreciate it if you weren't so vague about who they are. But, I appreciate that you're expanding your work onto other websites so that other people can admire your work.

It has 5 chapters if I remember correctly from "arkschyte" page may he be the original writer on not, I have all 5 saved and they are all signed as "arkschyte"

You are using Discord to host your work in order to make being a part of your Discord server a requirement to read your fan fiction. You are not some noble knight in shining armor who is giving other artists a "chance." They do not need you to get people to look at their work.

While I am glad to see you have decided to upload the other chapters to your FA gallery, please get off your high horse.

tl;dr ppl were trying to look for a fic similar to art, and finds out the original writer has all of his fics work gatekept and private inside his discord server. They got upset that he’s forcing people to join his server just to read and do fuck all in there and that’s about it I think.
