    That's how it works. The body doesn't immediately thin up after birth, which this basically is, as the tissues are still all stretched out.

    A woman is visibly thinner after birth, so that's half-true.

    I think judging by what we just saw, I don't think she's evolved to handle it. Just evolved enough to be able to lay the egg and survive.
