Her name is Cassie, she's definitely a girl, heh. And their clothes aren't supposed to change with them unless they're skin tight. No idea how those skin tight clothes morph with them though...lol

I read some books of the series. They weren´t anything too special. Although the brain-eating worms were cool.

I thought their clothes would transform into the animal with them, but when turning back into a human they had to generate their own, ill-fitting clothing.

Yeah, I was a big Animorphs fan in my wee years. I thought some of the books were decent reads at the time.

It's a yeerk, an alien slug that climbs into peoples brains. In the story of Animorphs, told over about 50 books, this race attempts to infiltrate the human race and take us all over as host bodies.

Furthermore, five kids receive the ability, from another race of aliens [Andalites], to morph into any animal they touch. Including dogs, cats, birds, tigers, other people and even.. Yeerks.

The morphing of clothing is utter nonsense and in the books, it is detailed that only extremely tight clothes such as lycra and socks may be incorporated into a morph.

In part, it was a piece of software called Elastic Reality. The youtuber LGR did a good video on it.
