I'm surprised how accurate your comment is. Just a phew days I saw a video that talked about how boredom is so unbearable for the brain. So, after some time, you will rather do strange or even harmful things to yourself, like giving yourself electric shocks or smacking yourself, just to get away from boredom. So, what you said makes perfect sense.
