April 10th: The bill has been vetoed!
April 2nd: The politicians in Arizona are about to sign into law a bill that would mandate sites like e621 to either impose age verification on all users or be at a risk of lawsuits. Such system would be required to go through third party vendors, who in turn must go through a government database to verify every user's age. This is not only a major violation of privacy, but it also opens up a very real danger of identity theft through phishing schemes and other methods, not to mention that we would not be able to control any of that information to make sure it is permanently deleted after age verification is complete.
Unfortunately, Arizona is the state out of which e621 operates, which means that this law will almost certainly affect us if it is to pass. If want to help us ensure that this site can continue to serve you without being required to know who you are, please ask the Arizona governor to veto this bill.
Please, help us get the word out by letting others know about this issue.
For some further information on what the bill does have a look at https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2586/
We still have a Discord server, come talk to us!

MemberIf I read this correctly, if I choose to not 'solve' this comic, the artist will?
Hey that's pretty rad, most comics I insult don't explode. What a special treat.

MemberAlas, you missed the most important one.
THIS IS A DISTRACTION!
DON'T FALL FOR IT!
RimmerOfSky
MemberMissed one myself before that.
You can't change it!
RimmerOfSky
MemberCould it be that the ending is just that there's nothing one can do but accept reality and move on?
RimmerOfSky
MemberThe disclaimer, however, says to get distracted. That doesn't seem like a coincidence at all.

MemberTo be honest, I was kind of hoping (and a little bit expecting) that things would go like: "No, seriously, who are you?"
"Didn't you ever actually wonder why someone like Frisk would be so driven to suicide, so willing to give up on the world, that he'd climb the mountain in the first place?"
"Just spit it out!"
"I guess I should be glad that mom got left flat, such was how rotten that ol' dude ended up, but I'm also glad that I tried to step in to see if I could locate any of them, not even sure if a hypothetical bro even existed."
"What?"
"I'm Fries, Frisk's half-brother. He had quite the broken home, but he's staying in a fine place now. Toriel and Asgore stop by constantly. The only problem, as I see it, is that his apartment needs some greenery..."
*Guy brings out two mini shoves and a small pot*
"Nobody's left behind. Not even you, even if you're stuck in this form right now. There's a nice shelf next to some plasticine kittens, after all, with your name on it."
And then things got whole-hog subliminal messaging and furry OCs. Which, I guess, is okay. Just... yeah.
