Description

Trying to recreate the flowing lines and sheer joy of the original drawing (original included for reference, without implying approval by original artist). If you're wondering what the chap is sitting on, it's a completely transparent Perspex chair. Probably.

This is seriously the best comment I've ever read on this site.

The originals look so much better.

I absolutely agree. I deliberately picked a bunch of excellent pictures to emulate, and I haven't made any secret of that.

Shame you didn't have the time to give me a few pointers as to which elements I should work on as a priority. You clearly think I need to improve, and we are of one mind on this matter. However, 'constructive criticism' is what's needed. Telling someone they're not very good, when they've already conceded the issue, is just being a bit of a jerk, isn't it? I mean, you obviously don't have an issue with the subject matter.

Posing. He looks ridiculous, both in posture and facial expression. Stuff that's not exactly noticeable in a drawing becomes really obvious/strange in a 3d image.

Good points. Thanks for the feedback. It was supposed to be fun, rather than ridiculous. I can see where you're coming from.

  • This is artistically fascinating to me. Like how this was made and the attention to detail. Would anyone know what program(s) made this possible?
