Almost as bad as what happened with Undertale. The fact that Chara (or whatever you name them) and Frisk have no SET gender made a lot of people claim that they are actually CANON agender. They were supposed to be self-inserts for the Player, not pride symbols for an extremely small queer community.

I don't consider these idiots to be authentic members of the trans community.

There are people in the world who are very insignificant or feel worthless as individuals, and rather than give themselves an identity, they try to steal somebody else's.

Transgender is a very hot topic today, so there are a lot of people on Twitter and other exploitable cry media who are basically exploiting transgender to get attention. This is also why they're trying to essentially claim Sylveon as their own - so they can leech off of Sylveon's immense popularity. Otherwise, they would have pulled this stunt five years ago when X/Y came out.

I know this is what they're doing because whenever I or anyone else tries to criticize them or even coherently mention them as individuals, they always redirect the aggression to say we're attacking all transgenders or attacking Sylveon or anything and anyone that is not themselves.

They refuse to ever let a conversation be about them as opposed to someone else. They're parasites that steal and hide behind existing identities, prestige, and communities.

There's pretty much no space on the internet for rational discussion about stuff like this... Least of all the comment section on e6.

I agree, especially with Sylveon. It's a pokemon who just happens to have the same color scheme as the trans flag, but Sylveon is not trans(no surprise there) because it is canonically an animal. It is an animal that acts and thinks with an intelligence akin to a fox, the only difference is that they're better at communicating with humans(cus pokemon is fiction and all)
