I see. You make a valid point. But it's still my artwork, my ideas, my style, and the events that occur are of my creation. If Sega doesn't have a problem with it, and there's a demand for erotic Sonic artwork, I see no reason not to profit off of it.

a valid point I suppose but under the Fair use law this is still a transformative work meaning none of that matters. You can use other copyrighted characters to your financial gain so long as you can actually do something transformative with those characters. By your logic Team Four Star should never be allowed to profit off of doing what they love to the point of actually getting jobs at Funimation (which, they have now by the way.)

Well i dont mean to be mean, but they do care. It's just honestly would be too much money and effort to sue a guy at a time out of the thousands of people who make work like this that the rewards they reap would not be worth it to gain the possible few thousands to their millions.(no offense, i still love your work.)
Its why we can get away with it cause yes we are breaking the law its just not worth it and can hurt a businesses reputation if a company attacked its fans. So were tolerable for that reason.
Heck i tried doing this exact thing its just laziness took over. If i continued i'd can possibly make a small amount of money especially when the copyright fan base is so massive and the company wouldn't bother with it unless you became too big of a name. *cough* mlp *cough*

Short story if your small time go for it. If you make it big with your art. You might need to dial it back or get permission or make another acount and continue work their and make some of your original content on the popular account.
