It kinda makes you wonder how Pokephilia is treated inside the world of pokemon itself. Is it accepted or is it like bestiality, highly frowned upon and illegal?

I'm guessing it would be similar to bestiality, seeing as they are a separate species and all that jazz

I would guess that it might not be seen as being as bad as most people think in real life because in there world almost all people own a pokemon

also sence some pokemon are very close to people(lucrio,gardavar,machomp,...) that it may be common

That makes sense, if you were caught with say a slugma, that might be a bit odd/frowned upon

one more thing to add to above comments

in the pokemon world 10year old kids are given pokemon and then run around by the entire world

when they start to think about that stuff they probably know there pokemon very well and could be alone in the woods or some cave, and no one would be around them to say it would be wrong so it might be a lot more common than we think(still probably less that the internet suggests)

Your saying if you could choose out of any pokemon and you picked you fav one that would look up to you as a friend or maybe something like this pic. maybe over some time your pokemon would bond to you and start to develop stronger feelings for you, you wouldn't fuck her... or him depending on your preference? i know i would.

Pokemon are smarter than your average animal and are, well, pocket MONSTERS, and even if we were going by animal standards there's still what others said about almost everyone being around pokemon.

Plus, I'm pretty sure pokemon could consent too given their intelligence.

There's a video on the subject on YouTube, by TheJwittz. In D/P/Pl, there is a library in canalave town with a book stating that humans evolved from Pokémon. In the Japanese version though, it states that Pokémon and people used to marry, and it wasn't thought of as odd because they were so much alike. So basically, that means that in now time pokemon , it would probably be thought of as gay people in the real world. No offense to gay people.

I'm inclined to agree with this, with the intelligence they posses and just how obsessed people are of pokemon makes it seem more likely to happen. When you have a culture that blatantly idolizes pokemon through movies, books, and real life, the chances of it happening are more and more likely. And when it happens more and more, who knows how people will treat it. Also ghost type pokemon, most were originally human, so logically they probably wouldn't hesitate to cross that line.
Also that ending to pokemon x and y with AZ and his fairy pokemon, yeah they banged. Of course it would just have to be foreplay :P
