April 10th: The bill has been vetoed!
April 2nd: The politicians in Arizona are about to sign into law a bill that would mandate sites like e621 to either impose age verification on all users or be at a risk of lawsuits. Such system would be required to go through third party vendors, who in turn must go through a government database to verify every user's age. This is not only a major violation of privacy, but it also opens up a very real danger of identity theft through phishing schemes and other methods, not to mention that we would not be able to control any of that information to make sure it is permanently deleted after age verification is complete.
Unfortunately, Arizona is the state out of which e621 operates, which means that this law will almost certainly affect us if it is to pass. If want to help us ensure that this site can continue to serve you without being required to know who you are, please ask the Arizona governor to veto this bill.
Please, help us get the word out by letting others know about this issue.

In fact, allying with demons is probably what angels get called being “dumbasses” for if not straight up treason. They’re “wicked vermins” but Raz’s job seems more aligned to “pest control” compared to a raccoon in your attic.
Aaand to defend Razzy, it’s probably not rare for demons to trick and manipulate angels. Even if not, maybe they meet friendly demons and are damned as a result.
He’s prideful and wants to solve it himself I’m assuming. But he still doesn’t want to trust entirely, a demon who went from rampaging to rambling to acting friendly to bullying him, of which he’s only known for at most an hour over three years. If not a manipulative demon, it’s an unstable demon that’s still on its way to committing naughty things.
Angels have a superiority complex over demons, because Hell is evil full of monsters, Heaven is good full of people, who would’ve thought it’s so black and white for them?
(Of course we will see in the future some of Heaven’s own monsters… yet another feature of this story with unstereotypical things.)
Actually, come to think of it, later in the chapters he does bring up the topic of friendly/nonthreatening demons.
