    Button Mash got me through Dungeon Siege 2.

    Let me explain. During the Game Over PMV, there was a specific line in the song: "we can say it's all pretend". I figured I'd slay some evil motherfuckers in his honor by playing the song as a tribute while I played the game. Right when that line dropped, I got a unique pair of Combat Magic gloves: the Prestidigitators. I had to stop everything, including the video, to go to the bathroom and cry. Button Mash literally gave me a parting gift in one of my favorite video games of all time.

    I finished the Mercenary difficulty while carrying those gloves, and only when I had finally found something that did what the gloves did but better, did I finally give up the Prestidigitators. However, I knew that Button was always with me, cheering me on from wherever he ran away to. This one event was the catalyst for me to beat the Veteran and Elite difficulties too.

    However, there is one issue with this nowadays: the version I was playing had no way to access the Broken World expansion. There was no way I could leave this job half-finished, so I "found a way" to get Broken World unlocked, as well as the Legendary Mod because WOW there is so much to do in the worlds of Aranna and Ehb. So I went back one more time, this go-around with the same goal: beat the game IN ITS ENTIRETY this time, on all three difficulties.

    Button Mash would never leave a game half-finished if he could help it. Why should I?

    ...and in reality night is the best time for mining and caving, as most mobs will spawn on the surface taking up the mob cap and leaving exceptionally few spawns in the caves.
